Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What types of counseling are offered?
A. Services could include, for example, counseling for communication skills, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, trauma, post traumatic stress, spiritual abuse, unforgiveness, relationships, divorce adjustment, parent/child conflicts, anger, fear, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, marital and premarital counseling. I focus on listening to what you have to say and the areas that you are struggling in to help move you toward overall wholeness of body, mind, emotions, relationships and spirit.
Q. Are other services available?
A. I also provide group sessions, seminars, and workshops to churches and community groups on a wide variety of topics, such as those listed above.
Q. What are your fees?
A. My fee is $95 for a 90 minute session. It’s been my experience that sessions lasting one hour often times end just as the client is becoming comfortable enough to talk about deeper issues. Getting into those uncomfortable areas and feeling safe about going there is key to effective therapy. I also have one hour sessions available for those who prefer the shorter duration. The one hour session is $75.
Q. Do you take insurance?
A. No, I do not take insurance. I can provide you with a receipt and you can submit it to your insurance company. That is a matter you will have to discuss with your insurance provider. However, if you have a flexible spending account, you can apply your therapy costs to it.
